The Fainting Room is a brand new place, for the old time look. We theme our site around the victorian era, because we feel that it fits with the beginning of when corsets were introduced, and also the main name of the site. Back in victorian times, a fainting room was a place where ladies wearing corsets would go to relax on a daybed, or couch, when feeling faint during events such as ball room dances or eventful parties.
Corsets today have become a huge trend in all sorts of activities and events, such as Renn Faires, Dance Clubs (mainly goth, industrial, EBM), and historical reenactments.
